Today, a private session allows for a more intimate view into your practice. You can start a new practice, deepen your practice or spend some time working with an injury or condition. When you work with a teacher one on one, the teacher is able to help you experience the benefits of yoga in a safe, personal way.
Private Yoga is an invaluable tool for students of all levels and experience. Private lessons provide the perfect setting to address your goals and work on areas of individual interest. Private Yoga can help you deepen your practice, gain confidence, answer questions and provide guidance.

Mindy has practiced Yoga for 19 years and taught for almost 17 of those years. She is dedicated to the discipline of Yoga as therapy. Every session is tailored to you and your specific needs and requests. What we do in a one on one session is not only physical but also mental, emotional and spiritual. Mindy feels that creating a safe space is tantamount to helping you on your journey on and off the mat. Imagine a class where there are not 20 people in the room, but instead just you and Mindy allowing you to have 100% of her attention, dedication and knowledge catering to your Yoga path.

Why take a private class?
For new students
As a new student, you may be intimidated by the public classroom environment. Private classes allow us the opportunity to focus on just you and make sure you are getting off to the best start. Private yoga instruction can help you integrate into our public classes. We can also provide one on one classes with you on an ongoing basis as some students prefer this type of practice and often benefit greatly from the one on one attention.
For more experienced students
Experienced students benefit from private sessions as well. You are able to have a deeper insight into specific postures or categories of postures that interest you. Private yoga sessions are the perfect learning environment. Our teachers can help you with posture alignment, modifications and can help you develop a balanced home practice. Private yoga classes can also give the experienced student time to learn about yoga philosophy or other aspects of interest, such as meditation and breathing practices.
